(Sr.) Scientist Bioanalytics
The (Sr.) Scientist Bioanalytics has proven knowledge in the development and validation of immunological assays used to study PK and immunogenicity on various platforms including but not limited to ELISA and ECLIA (MSD). You have preferably gained already experience in a large molecule setting. As an expert in your field you are used to work according to regulatory standards and guidelines. You will scientifically support and discuss assay strategy design, assay development/ validation and troubleshooting activities in house as well as at CROs. You will be involved in assay transfer and you will communicate directly with CROs. Following up you will support the monitoring of project progress of assigned projects at CROs and reviewing reports.
In house, you are not shy to also actively support hands-on your colleagues in early POC experiments or key troubleshoot experiments if needed. You document your activities accurately, write and review protocols and SOPs. As a pre, you have already gained experience with or have an affinity to develop biomarker assays (Flow Cytometry) in close liaison with your colleagues from the research department.
You are an MSc / PhD with a minimum of 3 years work experience in either biotech/pharma or at CROs. You are experienced in the development, qualification and troubleshooting of assays to asses pharmacokinetics (PK), immunogenicity (ADA and NAb) and/ or CMC potency. You are familiar with the theory and practice of different immunoassay technologies (e.g. ELISA, ECLIA, others). In addition you experience in either the field of biomarker research and relevant technologies including flow cytometry), and/or cell culture/cell-based assays. You are highly self-motivated and able to independently setup experimental strategies and data analysis using software such as GraphPad Prism, SoftMax Pro, and DOE. In previous settings, you have been exposed to guidelines by regulatory authorities. You poses excellent communication skills and the ability to work as an internal team member but also with research partners and/or CROs. You have an innovative, goal-oriented, flexible and collaborative mindset. You are familiar with working with and maintaining a quality system concisely documenting and reporting results and activities. You are able to work according to tight timelines while keeping your flexibility. You are well-organized and can handle and/or support several projects at once.
