(Sr.) Research Associate / Scientist Bioanalytics
As Sr. Research Associate/Scientist Bioanalytics you strengthen the team with your up-to-date knowledge and experience in the field of bioanalytical (BA) assay development and qualification. As an expert in your field you develop and qualify BA assays according to regulatory standards for internal and external use at CROs. Your assays will be the key to preclinical development and clinical testing of new therapeutic products. To achieve this, you keep up to date with the latest developments in the field. You document your assays accurately, write protocols and SOPs and transfer and implement methods off-site at CROs. You will be involved in assay strategy design and communicate directly with CROs. You support your colleagues in the lab with your assay and hands-on expertise in fields as flow cytometry, (primary) cell culture and/or protein chemistry.
You keep a HLO/HBO or WO education/PhD with a minimum of 3 years work experience in either biotech/pharma or at CROs. You are experienced in the development, qualification and troubleshooting of large molecule assays to asses pharmacokinetics (PK), immunogenicity (ADA and NAb) and/ or CMC potency. You are familiar with the theory and practice of different immunoassay technologies (e.g. ELISA, ECLIA, others) and bring experience in either the field of biomarker research (and relevant technologies), FACS, cell culture/cell-based assays and/or protein chemistry. You are able to independently setup experimental strategies and data analysis using software such as GraphPad Prism, SoftMax Pro and DOE. In previous settings, you have been exposed to guidelines by regulatory authorities. You possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work as an internal team member but also with research partners and/or CROs. You have an innovative, goal-oriented, flexible and collaborative mindset. You are familiar with working with and maintaining a quality system, which includes adhering to procedures and concisely documenting results in ELN. You are able to work according to tight timelines while keeping your flexibility. You are well-organized and can handle and/or support several projects at once.
