(Sr.) Research Associate Cellular Assays
As (Sr.) Research Associate Cellular Assays, your role is to research and characterize the therapeutic properties of LAVA’s proprietary bi-specific γδ T cell engagers in vitro, as well as participate in expanding our current pipeline of tumor-targeting antibodies. As part of a team of Scientists and (Sr.) RA’s, you will be working closely together to functionally characterize LAVA’s (lead) bi-specific molecules and investigate their mode of action. You strengthen the team with your up-to-date knowledge of- and experience in the field of Immunology. You enjoy contributing to advance LAVA’s platform by accurately designing, executing and reporting cellular experiments. You are involved in technical and scientific discussions and support your colleagues in the lab with your expertise.
As (Sr.) Research Associate at LAVA you have an innovative, goal-oriented, flexible and collaborative mindset. You enjoy working in a small and growing team and are familiar with setting up and adhering to lab and safety procedures. You are well organized and can handle and/or support several projects at once. You are a team-player and possess excellent communication skills.
Moreover, we ask the following of you:
- A HLO/BSc or MSc degree in Immunology, Cell Biology or similar.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience. Biotech experience has added value.
- Knowledge of (primary) cell culture and cell-based functional assays, as well as experience in isolation of cells from blood and expertise in Flow Cytometry.
- Experience with analysis software like FlowJo and GraphPad Prism.
- Experience with independently setting up and developing new assays.
- Professional level English language skills, both written and verbal.
